One of the people Gordon introduced me to was a girl a few years older then me called Kate Foster. I looked on Kate as being like an older sister. She welcomed me into the youth fellowship and I think Kate was a very humble girl. I can never think of that first day without remembering her and some time later, we had a meeting where we could choose our favourite songs. Kate chose one called, "Teach me Thy way". I remember her every time I hear it.
it was just lovely to have a new friend. I needed her at that time to settle into the North Parish. Never underestimate friendship. It has a value beyond compare
